Code Enforcement is one of the three services provided by the City of Peachtree Corners. Following are five of the most common code violations in Peachtree Corners:

1. Tall grass and weeds on residential property. 2. Signs posted on the city right-of-way. 3. Building without the required permits. 4. RVs and non-motor vehicles in driveway. 5. Open or outdoor storage.

Primary elections are May 20, 2014. If you have not registered to vote, the deadline is April 21. And beginning this year, you now may register to vote online. A valid Georgia Drivers License or ID issued by the GA. Dept. of Driver Services is required. Visit www.mvp.sos.ga.gov for more information and to register online. Posted April 9, 2014
 
 
By the end of the first quarter of 2014, the City of Peachtree Corners processed a total of 125 new business license applications including 48 for March. Last year a total of 382 new licenses were processed. Licenses for March range from carpet cleaning and taxi services to dental and pediatric offices. Citizen Project Selection Committee Presents Its Recommendations for SPLOST Projects
 
The nine-member committee, which included two representatives from Peachtree Corners, have completed their seven-month study and submitted their recommendations to the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners for transportation projects to be funded by an estimated $225 million in SPLOST revenue. Click here for a list of projects.

Name That App:  And The Winner Is ....
 
The votes are in on the "Name that App" promotion. "Click-N-Fix" was the choice by a wide majority for the City's new App for reporting code violations, road repairs and maintenance issues. 
 
The free app, expected to be available in May, may be downloaded to your iPhone, Android, Blackberry or Windows smartphone. You will also be able to access through a link on the city's website.

Mayor Mason, addressing the UPCCA at a recent Public Safety meeting, outlined the services that the GCPD offers Peachtree Corners residents and businesses.
 
Did you know that the Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD), which provides police service to Peachtree Corners has over 750 sworn officers. The GCPD has a surge capability unmatched by any police agency in the area. And the cost to Peachtree Corners tax payers is far less than police departments in surrounding cities. The City of Peachtree Corners was just awarded a highly coveted LCI grant from the Atlanta Regional Commission.  The grant award will allow the city to develop a Town Center plan along Peachtree Parkway.  Work on this project will likely start in June and be completed in 8 months.
